Moderate Machine is a China-based B2B manufacturer of industrial air compressors, drilling rigs, diesel generators, and lighting equipment - serving mining, construction, and water well projects across 50+ countries since 2017.

Why We Started

Moderate Machine was founded by Wu Jun, an engineer who spent over a decade working on mining and construction sites across China. What he saw firsthand was a market stuck at two extremes: premium European equipment priced out of reach for most project operators, and low-cost alternatives that broke down under real working conditions.

Neither option served the people actually running the job sites.

In 2017, Wu Jun founded Moderate Machine in Quzhou, Zhejiang - a city with one of China's most established pneumatic machinery manufacturing ecosystems - with a clear goal: build equipment that works reliably in the field, at a price that makes operational sense.
What "Moderate" Means
The name is intentional. "Moderate" means balanced, practical, and well-adapted to real conditions.
We design equipment that delivers the optimal balance between performance, fuel efficiency, durability, and cost. Not the cheapest option. Not an over-engineered machine with features a mining crew in Tanzania or a drilling team in Indonesia will never use. Just reliable, job-matched equipment that holds up where it counts.
